They are clear and public criteria for knowing what they should learn from children and young people, and set the benchmark for what they are able to know and know-how in each of the areas and levels. They are reference for all students, urban or rural, private and public institutions throughout the country, provide the same quality education to students from Colombia guide.
The standards are divided into three columns:
1. I approached the social scientific knowledge as natural: refers to the way students approach the knowledge of science in the same way as those who come from the study, use and contribute with them to build a better world.
2. Operation own knowledge of natural sciences: aims to create conditions for learning, from concrete actions of thought and knowledge production, students achieve ownership and management concepts from these sciences.
3. Developing personal and social commitments: Indicates responsibilities as individuals and as members of society will assume when they become known and critically value the discoveries and advances in science, whether natural or social.
Our proposal for the PBL working standards in science and technology since the activities are focused on these areas from the orientation and LSA question proposed activities to achieve the objectives.

Standards in technology
Nature and evolution of technology: Refers to the characteristics and objectives of technology, its fundamental to its relations with other disciplines and the recognition of their evolution through history and culture concepts. Appropriation and use of technology: This is adequate, relevant and critical use of technology in order to optimize, enhance productivity, facilitate the realization of different tasks and enhance the learning process, among others. Troubleshooting technology: Refers to management strategies and identifying, formulating and solving problems with technology, as well as nesting and communication of ideas. It includes strategies ranging from troubleshooting and needs, until the design and evaluation. Technology and society: The students' attitudes toward technology, in terms of social and environmental awareness, curiosity, cooperation, teamwork, intellectual openness, search, information management and desire to learn. The social assessment that the student makes technology to recognize the potential of resources, evaluation of processes and the analysis of their impacts and their causes and consequences.
